Mia Director Deirdre Diamante has been appointed to the Course Advisory Committee for the Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Swinburne University of Technology for the 2020 academic year.
To help drive strong industry links, Swinburne invites external leaders in relevant industry or professional practice to make up at least 60% of its Course Advisory Committees, which shape courses for career-ready graduates. Deirdre is looking forward to contributing her insights and expertise, founded on her passion for innovation and supporting the growth of our local entrepreneur market.
“As a business founder, I have experienced the strong sense of value you have building and growing an enterprise,” Deirdre says. “I also understand the expertise and characteristics that support entrepreneurship and innovation. I am thrilled to be in a position to contribute these practical insights to the Swinburne program.”
The Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation is part of the Swinburne Business School and is designed to help students understand the challenges and opportunities that can arise when embarking on a new business venture or leading a period of change within an organisation. The guidance of the Course Advisory Committee will inform Swinburne Business School’s contribution to social impact through education and research endeavours.
