With the expansion of Mia’s services providing government policy support and advice, as well as ongoing need for bid support, Mia is pleased to announce that Jade Leong has assumed the redefined role of Mia Director Bids and Policy.
Jade takes over this role from Carol Benton, who remains with Mia as a Senior Consultant, supporting the bids and policy team.
Since joining Mia’s government strategy and engagement team in February this year (see announcement), Jade’s broad government experience, expertise and enthusiasm have made her an integral part of the Mia team. She takes on the bids and policy leadership role on the back of extensive experience in leading government procurements and deep understanding of government procurement policies, processes and principles.
Mia’s bids and policy team supports companies bidding for government contracts of all sizes. We work with clients on every critical aspect of a government bid, including identification of unique selling points and additional methods of differentiation to make bids compelling to government. We also help companies ensure their bids meet the requirements of key federal and state government procurement policies, in particular those around the Modern Slavery Act, gender equality, ‘buying local’ (including Local Jobs First) and social procurement.
