We are thrilled to welcome Paul Cooper to Mia as an Associate, adding a new and valuable dimension to the team.
Paul Cooper is well known and respected in Melbourne government and IT circles, having held executive roles in both the public and private sectors. He was most recently Acting Director Digital Health for the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Paul specialises in helping organisations make the most effective use of information and digital capabilities. His general government knowledge, experience and specific skills in digital health and innovation will be invaluable to Mia industry clients seeking to grow government engagement and business. We also look forward to working with him to develop improved procurement and industry engagement models for our government clients.
Among Paul’s many business interests, he teaches a postgraduate course in health informatics management at Deakin University, leveraging his PhD in Medical Research and Grad. Dip. Business (Organisational Development). In addition, as a strong believer in the benefits of diversity Paul has taken the ‘Panel Pledge’ to speak only at events with balanced participation of women speakers and panellists.
We’re excited to have Paul onboard as a Mia Associate – not only for the extra depth and capability this offers our clients, but for what we can learn from him as well.
